Our Out of Hours Service is provided by "Wiltshire Medical Services " who are under contract with the local PCT. They employ local doctors and other health professionals to run the service. The Out of Hours Service (which runs when the surgery is closed) is contactable by ringing 0300 111 5717( this number is also given on the Surgeries answering service which can be contacted on 01666 825825.
The number puts the caller through to trained staff who will decide on the appropriate action which may involve the patient attending Chippenham hospital, or in the case of severe illness, the doctor making a home visit or an ambulance being called.
