The Nurses are:

Sister Louise Mann

EN/RGN

I joined this practice in 1995, having worked in hospitals since qualifying in 1988. I am involved in many aspects of delivery of care to the patients registered with this surgery.

However, I specialise in Diabetes, Heart disease, Stroke management and Contraception and Sexual Health. I am a Royal College of Nursing (RCN) accredited contraception implant inserter and remover. In 2008 I qualified as a Non-Medical Independent Prescriber, which has greatly increased the care I can give.

Sister Val Smith

Following my general nurse training at Cheltenham General Hospital I worked as a Staff Nurse on the Orthopaedic ward and then a period at Tetbury, before becoming The Outpatients Sister at Malmesbury Hospital. This also included sessions in the MIU.  My Current role as Practice Nurse is both varied and challenging and I have a particular interest in minor illnesses and injuries. My hobbies are reading, walking and when weather permits riding my bike.

Sister Jackie Williams
I am a local girl and was born in Crudwell and still live locally. I trained as a nurse through Cheltenham Gloucester colleges for health and had placements at Cheltenham, Gloucester and Cirencester Hopitals where I worked in the Medical and Surgical wards for many years once I qualified. More recently I worked as part of the district nursing team at Minchinhampton before joining the Surgery as a Practice nurse and becoming the lead nurse for respiratory care.

Sister Bev Wright
I too am a local girl born in Malmesbury, I live in the town with my husband Ken and our two dogs.  After qualifying as a nurse in 1979 I have held various nursing posts at the old PMH Hospital where I trained.

I joined the practice in 2006 my clinical interests are “Minor Illnesses” and more recently “Obesity and Weight Management.”

I manage to combine my Nursing Practice with life as a Military Reservist. I Joined the TA in 1999as a Private and subsequently commissioned into the Q.A.R.N.C.(V)after Officer training at Sandhurst. I am currently serving as a Senior Nursing Officer with 243 Med Evac Rgt, of which I am extremely proud. My hobbies Include Running, Dog Walking and I love a good book.
