Dr Kate Badcock
MA BM BCh DCH (Reg 1972 Oxford)

I qualified from Oxford in 1972, then completed the rest of my training in Worcestershire. Thence to my first practice at the other end of Wiltshire, and arrived in Malmesbury in 1983. I am now [allegedly] half-time. My clinical interests are Mental Health, Palliative Care, and Womens health. I love to read [preferably with a cat on my knee], swim, and enjoy being a member of the Malmesbury Singers. My husband is now retired, and my son is a physicist. I am mother-in-law to a beautiful Iranian girl.

Dr Nigel Pickering
MA BM BCh MRCGP DRCOG (Reg 1982 Oxford)
  

I trained in Oxford, graduating in 1982, and completed my vocational GP training in Bath. I became a full-time partner in Malmesbury in 1987. I have a particular interest in the care of the elderly, rehabilitation, dermatology and prescribing issues. I have three children and enjoy walking, gardening and photography.

 
Dr John Pettit

John PettitI was born in Australia of English parents and bought up in Devon. I graduated in Southampton and then completed my vocational GP training in Bristol and Poole. I became a ¾ time partner here in 1996, with particular interest in preventative cardiology and mental health. I have an interest also in western medical acupuncture.My wife is a GP four miles away in Sherston and we have four children. Interests include photography and playing the drums. 

 
Dr Jackie Neale
MB ChB MRCGP DA DRCOG (Reg 1983 Birmingham)
  

After graduating I spent about ten years in hospital posts in Birmingham and Shropshire, covering various general medical specialities, anaesthetics, accident and emergency, obstetrics & gynaecology, and psychiatry. After a year as a registrar in general practice in this area, I worked as a locum GP locally before joining Gable House in 1995. I am involved here in most aspects of clinical care, with particular interests in diabetes, mental health, paediatrics and women's medicine. I continue to take part in the out of hours care arrangements provided at Chippenham. 

 
Dr John Harrison
MB BS MRCP MRCGP (Reg 1987 London)
 

Qualified St Thomas' Hospital (University of London) 1987. I worked as a medical registrar in York and St James' Hospital Leeds before completing my vocational training in Cornwall. Joined Gable House Surgery in October 1998. Amongst other things I supervise the respiratory clinic at Gable House Surgery. I also have an interest in medicine for the elderly and cardiology. 

 
Dr Anna Le
MBBS FRACGP DRACOG DFFP (Reg 1989 Sydney Australia)
Trained and Qualified in Australia (Sydney) 1989 I worked in hospital medicine before moving to the UK in 1998. My introduction to General Practice was as a Registrar here at Gable House Surgery where I benefitted from having being trained by my enthusiastic trainer and great friend the late Dr Christopher Townsend. In 1991 I became a part time clinical partner and my areas of interest are child health surveillance, women's health, sexual health medicine, family planning (including coil fitting) and dermatology. I currently do 6 sessions a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).
 
Dr Victoria Couchman 
   I am originally from Yorkshire and trained at the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff. I qualified in 1998 and went on to train as a GP in Newport. I arrived at Gable House in 2002 and since then I have got married (nee Graham) and had my 1st child in 2007. My professional interests include epilepsy, paediatrics and women’s health. At home I enjoy reading, DIY and rugby (watching -as I no longer play).
 
Dr Tom Estcourt 

I trained at Bristol Medical School, qualified as a Doctor in 1994 and worked in the BRI and Southmead Hospitals following that. I moved to London and completed my General Practice Training at University College Hospital followed by 5 years as a GP partner in Paddington. I finally made the move to Malmesbury in 2006. My main specialist interest within the practice is the training and education of hospital doctors to be General Practitioners but I am also interested in Child Health. My wife is GP in Corsham and I have two young sons.

 
Dr Laura Haynes MbChB MRCGP DCH DFFP
 I was born in Stroud and have come full circle having lived in Devon and Yorkshire. I qualified at Leeds in 2000, then trained as a GP in the Yorkshire Dales before working in central Bradford. I've worked in Malmesbury since 2006. My particular areas of interest are Family Planning, Child Health, Epilepsy and Education. I live near Stroud with my husband and daughter. In my spare time I love outdoor adventures.
